Introductory Notes

Given how long it takes me to assemble people and then edit the monstrous thing we produce, this is an experiment with a smaller scale podcast. Although nothing to the grandeur to the Official Ferretbrain Podcast, I'm hoping to do a series of mini-casts with various of the Ferretneurons.

In this first installment, Dan and I talk Merlin and Dragon Age, or at least we try to talk Dragon Age but instead we dart off on tangents about everything other cRPG every made.

Programme

Given how informally unstructured the whole thing is, the peacast is about 40 minutes. We talk about Merlin for the first 15 minutes or so and about Dragon Age until we say goodnight.

Bonus Features!

Dan does his terrible Sean Connery impression and Kyra offers to sleep with whichever Chris who works for Obsidian and keeps writing the betrayal plot.

Ahh, my articles got referenced in a podcast! I feel oddly professional.

(I think you were poking at "Mists of Avalon?" It's one of my favourites. Alas, not every episode has a not young woman. Unless you count our series regulars.)

Quick nitpick on Merlin: Angel Coulby, IIRC, is Gwen, and Arthur's actually played by a chap called Bradley. Much less awesome :-(

NOOOOOO!!! We were sure that was Arthur and that Bradley was Merlin! NOOOOOOO!!! He's much less cool now he's not called Angel. WAH!

Yeah, that was the one. It involved Uther having a particularly bad moment of saying "You, you pair of Wizards, why not make yourself at home in Camelot!". It also comes *directly after* the episode where he fires Gaius in favour of another *evil wizard*.

No, Merlin's called Colin IRL. Although if you've seen any of the little behind-the-scenes clips, Bradley James hosts them and he comes across as very sweet. But also not secretly mad about Colin Morgan either; I can see what you mean about the writers slashing them and the actors not.
