I find it very pleasing how these articles can take something I just wouldn't watch, and still turn it into engaging and entertaining reads. Even when it's clearly very bad! You do really have to wonder sometimes how these bizarre sequels happen....

Well, when you put it like that... no rush though, maybe bring it along to a game? Unless you're desperate to get it out of the house, I mean.

On Chaugnar Faugn: I've never read the story and, given your review, don't intend to (a shame, because some aspects of the entity as I've seen it mentioned it sound moderately interesting). I did run across <a href="https://cdnb.artstation.com/p/a...

The Horror at Oakdeene, a rarely-reprinted Lumley story that, based on what I am able to discover about it, seems to be a fairly simple “asylum inmates attempt to summon a Great Old One” deal

If you really want to read his stuff I could just give you my copies, I certainly don't want them any more.
I fully believe that this is a terrible idea, but I've got to admit a mild desire to see just how bad they are for myse...

Another enjoyable series, particularly as I've slowly started checking out some of the secondary Mythos authors, but not reached Derleth. And from your account, I probably shouldn't! Nevertheless... can you recommend (I use the word advisedly) a ...

Really enjoying this series. I think part of the reason Innsmouth has such a lasting hold is that he struck on a very reusable premise here, far more so than most of his other ideas. First off, it’s relatively simple, but not immedi...

I've been vaguely meaning to write an article for a while, but haven't had the focus/energy/time and it would involve a ton of reading and rereading, so I just want to throw the idea in here for Ferrets to nibble on. So after <a href="http://ferre...

Now that you suggest dubstep is involved, I can kind of get behind the horror of He. For reasons I've never been able to articulate I have a great fondness for The Festival. I also like the HPPLP take that it's an intriguing explora...

Nice article. I like the comments on how his writing style slowly coalesces over time. I hadn't previously considered how Lovecraft's really quite unusual childhood pastimes and literary background would have shaped his mindset. Based on the (fa...

On topic again, how do you feel about the replayability of the game? It's one of the things that's come up with other indie-ish games I know, where the concept is specific enough that it seemed like one outing was enough to thoroughly cover it. For examp...
