Welcome to the Playpen, our space for ferrety banter and whimsical snippets of things that aren't quite long enough for articles (although they might be) but that caught your eye anyway.
I'm so glad Moffat felt able to reinvent the series, just like RTD invented it - I'm sure there are some fans of the earlier seasons who aren't happy but for me it's gone from a series which I would occasionally watch and be disappointed with when RTD was at the helm to something I am a drooling fanboy of. I'm sure Moffat will eventually get stale like RTD did and the next guy might take the show in a direction I like more or intensely dislike but I'm OK with that - I'd much prefer a Who which reflects the particular style of the head honcho of the time at the price of the occasional season being not to my tastes than something which tries to appeal to so many factions of the audience at once it becomes utterly bland.
I've also recently been enjoying Doodle God.
Desktop dungeon is Windows-only!D'oh! That's me oppressed too, then. It sounds fun :-(
It's sadly devoid of sparkly robot unicorns but I have a raging addiction to Desktop Dungeons.
Ooh, that's been one of my recent favourites too, although I haven't played the newest version. Took me absolutely forever to beat the Factory...
